Abstract
Current research shows the COVID-19 Pandemic had a negative effect on university student engagement due to stay-at-home orders and minimized in person events. This study analyzes strategies to boost engagement for a University club now that the COVID-19 Pandemic has ended. Three online surveys will be administered, and student, alumni, and Fredericksburg community member’s engagement and attitudes will be analyzed before, during, and after the International Women’s Day event sponsored by the University of Mary Washington (UMW) College of Business (COB) Women In Business (WIB) club. Data will be collected primarily on the UMW campus, but also administered online to past UMW students and UMW affiliated community members that are currently residents of the United States.
